Per Se Aperitivo

$0.00

Late afternoons with riverside tours. Terraces filled with friends. Mild temperatures and an orange horizon with touches of red, warm, provided by the sun that is hiding in our young Lisbon.

In Portugal, we know that this scenario is only complete with a glass, ice, and the sunset colour of an aperitif created with 24 botanicals that combine in a unique blend. This is the well-guarded secret that brings us the light, the colour, and the essence of southern Europe in one drink.

A secret called Per Se.

Producer: Casa Redondo

Style: Spirit (Aperitivo/Apéritif)

Ingredients: Water, alcohol, sugar, distillate, and infusion of 24 spices and aromatic plants.

Tasting Notes: A bright warm orange that, when light gets through, reminds the iconic sunsets of the south of Portugal. Aroma with hints of cardamom, orange, Jamaican pepper, and Portuguese hop gives this aperitif a balanced, refreshing twist that makes us rewind to the best summer days. The flavour is complex in its ingredients, but uncomplicated in the glass. Light, sweet, citric from the orange peels, and a small bitterness on the palate due to the hops. All its 24 botanicals contribute to a rich ensemble of flavours. With a smooth and citric finish that lingers on the mouth and nose.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Perfect Serve: Add 10cl of Per Se on the rocks with a zest of orange for a citric touch.

  • Per Se & Tonic: In a wine glass, pour 10cl of Per Se over some ice, then add 10cl of ice-cold tonic water. Finish with an orange zest for a delicate and refreshing citrus touch.
